Bellus3D Mask Fitter
Bellus3D's Face Mask Fitter is a plastic frame that helps to improve the seal with surgical masks or similar face masks. It is made using a Bellus3D face scan (created with the Bellus3D FaceApp) and a 3D printer to precisely fit a person's facial geometry.
The mask fitter has undergone testing in a medical setting and has been approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services — National Institutes of Health.
You will need an iPhone10 or iPadPro. Download the app called “Bellus3D Dental Pro”. Create a free account.
Follow instructions for taking a scan. Once the scan is complete, you will see a menu pop up in the right. Select the “mask fitter” tool.
Choose which design you want and click next. The premium is more expensive since it requires more material. Once you see the mask appear on your 3D picture, click the export button.
Each export costs $.99. Email the STL file to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once the file is received it will be sent to R&D Technologies to be printed.
The standard mask is what is pictured; it goes around your nose and chin. There is a new premium mask that has material that comes across the lip area. There is a clamp that is meant to grab the mask material so the mask doesn't go in your mouth when you breathe.
