How does the iTero Element Digital Intraoral Scanner work?

The scanning unit emits red laser light (680 nm - Class 1) and white LED light in order to record topographical images of the teeth and oral tissue.

    Is it dangerous?

No. Normal usage of the intraoral scanner does not present any danger to the human eye and no ionizing radiation (x-ray) is emitted.

The iTero Element Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital impression system that eliminates the need for messy putty in your patient's mouth.

With our iTero Element scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your patient's teeth and gums. The process is far more comfortable than the putty based impressions, it's faster and can offer a superior clinical endpoint.

What else can iTero Element do for your patients?

    • Crown and bridge

    • Sleep guards

    • Dental hearing appliances
